Kurrungal Paradise
The Kurrungal Paradise Cultural Centre venue is nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast, the magnet of holiday seekers from around the world. A magnificent breathtaking entrance awaits all who grace its presence with a traditional carving of the Centre’s logo incorporating a spectacular water feature for the arrival of local, national and international visitors.
On arrival you will be greeted with a lei, traditionally given as a sign of affection on arriving or leaving a gathering or a place. The escorts in beautiful traditional attire will welcome and escort you to the main foyer where you will astounded at the beauty of murals and artefacts of local artists with the opportunity to purchase authentic artwork and souvenir memorabilia. Photos will be taken with cast members in a beautiful array of colourful traditional costumes.
Our Philosophy
We believe in the preservation and legacy of cultures through education, motivation and promotion of multi-cultural unity, while maintaining individual identity.
We will provide employment, education and support as an example of these beliefs, as we expound an unforgettable unique cultural experience within the tourism industry on the Gold Coast of Australia.
This will in turn motivate and empower individuals and community.
Our Corporation
The Kurrungal Waiburra Indigenous Corporation recognises and embraces the cultures of the neighbouring islands of Australia.
We acknowledge with dignity and pride the original inhabitants of Australia and the Gold Coast by providing the ultimate cultural experience in Paradise.
This will feature the history, arts, music and dance of Indigenous Australians, being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and the neighbouring Pacific Island cultures.
